Number talk is an interactive and collaborative method of teaching math, where students are encouraged to explain their thought process and reasoning, challenge and collaborate with their peers to solve problems. By engaging in number talks, students develop their mental math skills, foster an appreciation for math, and learn to communicate their ideas effectively.
