What’s the Difference Between Iron and Steel
Iron and steel are two very different materials. While both are composed of iron and carbon, the amount of carbon present is what separates them. Steel has a higher carbon concentration, making it stronger and more durable than iron. Additionally, steel can be easily manipulated and molded into different shapes and forms. On the other hand, iron is more brittle and difficult to work with. It’s typically used for making castings and decorative pieces.
