What Are Boner Bears
Boner bears, also known as sun bears, are the smallest bear species in the world. They get their unusual name from their habit of standing on their two hind legs and appearing to have an erection, while actually just trying to reach for food. Despite their amusing nickname, boner bears are endangered and facing threats from habitat loss and hunting.
