When going for a CT scan, it’s important to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Avoid wearing clothes that contain metal, such as zippers, buttons or jewelry. Also, it’s best to wear clothing that doesn’t have any logos or prints that could interfere with the imaging. In general, it’s better to opt for plain and simple outfits. In some cases, the healthcare provider may provide a gown to wear during the procedure.
